A native of Paris, France, Agnes Girard began at the age of five in the Arts with ballet and piano. At the age of 11 she was accepted to the world renowned Paris Opera school under the direction of Claude Bessy later leading her to train at the Marseille Opera School under the direction of Marie-claude Pietragalla. After the change of direction, Agnes traveled abroad to train and engage herself at the Royal ballet School of Flanders in Antwerp. She holds a bachelor of Arts from the Theater school of Amsterdam, in which she accredits to all of her knowledge of dance an experiences, working and collaborating with divers known choreographers such as Georg Reischl, Douglas, Becker, Eytan Sivak.
In 2008 Agnes had the opportunity to travel abroad again but this time across the Atlantic, bringing forth the Jeune Ballet du Quebec under the direction of former Paris Opera dancer Didier Chirpraz. During that period Agnes experienced and performed from the vast palette of dance productions and artists, working with many known choreographers such asThierry Malandain, Shawn Hounsell, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Hélène Blackburn and Gaël Domenger. In 2009 the company was invited to the Monaco Dance Forum to take part in celebrating the centenary of the Ballet Russes. The company performed The Afternoon of the faun choreographed by shawn Hounsell, and Marie-Antoinette by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa in which Agnes danced the main role. This lead to a contract offer to Graz Opera located in Austria, under the direction of Darrel Toulon. Since entering the company she has danced many works created by her director and has worked with many eclectic known guest choreographers such as James Cousins, Tilman O'Donnell, James Witlon, Natalia Horecna, Itamar Serussi and Vasco Wellenkamp.
In 2014 Agnes joined the Theater Münster under the direction of Hans Henning Paar where she performed lead roles such as Grafin Geschwitz in "Lulu eine Monstretragödie" by Hans Henning Paar and Persephone in "Descent" by Thomas Noone.
Since 2016 she has been engaged with Ballet Preljocaj performing major pieces from Anglin Preljocaj in theaters around the world..
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and le Diplôme d'Etat de professeur de dance (French Diploma of Ballet) and is currently teaching ballet classes in Paris.
In the process of becoming a certified Pilates MAT instructor at A-Lyne Studio in Paris (directed by Martine Curtis and Kelly Moriarty).
